I'm on the 4mb gold account and im being throttled down to below 384k speeds during the day. Cant watch youtube, cant download emails, cant do anything of value within a reasonable time.

We may as well go with the afterhours account. Its pretty much the same price and the daylight speeds are the same lol

I was on it, but I downgraded to gold because I needed faster speeds during the day. Now this account is just as slow during the day.

VB Gold 4MB is unbearably slow today. Been using Afrihost account basically the entire day.

Any issues?
 
I have the same - trying to download JDownloaderSetup.exe - its sitting at 10KB/s - also VB 4MB

EDIT - it timed out :( Just started a newsgroup download - 50KB/s... It seems my problems are mostly in the evenings... during the day 200-300KB/s - again, a far cry from the 400's I got in Dec-Feb

EDIT2 - everything seemed fine until the 16th

This is not cool - I can't even get a speedtest to run properly, definitely not what I'm paying for. If I switch to my Afrihost account it runs fine.

The pages that dont load are probably due to the DNS problems. A page or two back Mr Beep gave new DNS settings which fix the non-loading issues for most.

I am using 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

This is now using the Afrihost free 1gb -not stellar, but my girlfriend is playing on facebook

Ok - been given a new account, and it seems its back up at 380KB/s - now by mistake I forgot the above mentioned DNS details because I switched from Afrihost - I'm not sure if thats what was causing the problem?
 
i've been on leave since last thursday and my vb gold has been flying throughout the day during that time. been really impressed with it. doing exactly what i paid the premium for.
 
After MrBEEP changed my account - it flew at over 400KB/s till the download finished at 1am (so from 9pm to 1am)
