Mouse which router do you have?

Try admin with psw: admin.

ok problem solved, I got a new login from openweb.
The only other issue I'm having is a VERY slow response time from the router (Billion 800vgt) when trying to login/configure the router.
And the router error log has this:

Error Log
Error Log (times are in seconds since last reboot)
When Process Error Log

Torrents are dead on VB, only an IS account will work with them and I have had very poor speeds this weekend on IS, something seems bust

Same experience here, lately things are very slow. Seems like severe throttling, as HTTP is full speed, but NNTP etc is just about dead.

At least I can still do Http downloading....so I agree with Sammy7, they are throttling torrents to death.

What backbone are you on? It's only on VB that you cannot do torrents at all.
IS => 196.x.x.x.x

just signed up for openweb 4mbit gold account via credit card, how long does it take to get an account assigned?
Thought it was supposed to instant?

Send MrBeep an email ([email protected]), he'll sort you out doubly fast. It is a public holiday though (I think, the dates are so confused right now) so give him a few minutes to reply.

General thoughts on the Gold accounts? Worth the cash? Iv tried the standard accounts a few times and they have been decent

It's like a wet dream.... except it's real :p

In one word, amazing.
In a few words: doesn't compare to Std accounts :p

Now im super excited to try it out!
Cmon Mr Beep... send me details... your my only hope :p

How do I see what backbone I'm on? Can I change it? I just used the logging details Openweb gave me thats it.

The only 196. I can find is on my routers primary DNS...if that means anything

Check your IP.
196.x.x.x will be Internet Solutions.
VB uses 41.y afaik. (can't remember what y was, when I was on it).

You can use whatismyip.org to see what you IP is, it might also give your hostname, which would say something like xxx.dynamic.isadsl.co.za, or xxx.neology.co.za or xxx.digichilli.co.za or whatever).

Thanks for the help guys. I am 41.xx.xx.xxx...that sucks. So how do I change it to IS ? DO I need to go for a golden account?
