I know Openweb will allow you to trial the VPN Service for a few hours - why not contact them to try it out - that way you'll know for sure if it works, without laying out any cash.

Just received an email from OpenWeb.
They do not offer free trials.
So if anyone has any experience, please let us know.

No it's not a proxy.
It allows all traffic on all ports to go through.

Got some answers

Hi all

Got some answers to those that may be interested.

1. You get 1 email address with it, but you can use all your other email addresses with it, so no worries there.
   
2. If you have a router that supports PPTP connections such as a router running DD-WRT, you can give access to all computers in your network.
   They only allow one connection per account.
   
3. You cannot have any servers running on your account. No home web servers, mail servers, game servers etc.
   
4. It is unshaped so the latency should be good, but I haven't seen any actual tests done.
