Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising

Seems to be a system hog on my machine...Was so looking forward to the game and it does not run smoothly on my pc.%$*&!
 
Got a copy from Incredible Connection and have played about 7 missions.

Comments so far:

- Lots of running.
- There are options about how to get the missions done but its mostly limited to running and gunning as vehicles are very very VERY scarce.
- Cant select loadout before going into a mission. I'm hoping that I have missed something in the game manual/options.
- Graphics are great for a DX9 title. Runs well with max detail on my oldish Q6600 & GTX275
- The air strikes and artillery is totally awesome!

The game is definitely very good but besides updated graphics it does not feel any better than the original Flashpoint. Less vehicles, more running, unchanged AI, less weapons?
 
I have mine now since Friday but there is a few things i cant figure out... like the outfit before starting the missions for instance, and how do u change from leader to gunner / sniper etc. because in the stats it shows time as Machine gunner etc. and its all on 0. All my time in 5 missions is played as leader. I also dont like the order giving thingy because u loose the ability to move but if there was some way to pause that would help a lot. All and i think its gr8 not the same old run like a chicken without a head and shoot madly bull like all the other shooters, this one has a bit more thinking to it.
 
well i finished it a couple days ago, and altho it was a lot of fun and its a well made game, i found it a lot easier than expected. i remember trying the first Operation Flashpoint and just getting pwned over and over again, and that was just the first mission! Dragon Rising is a lot lot easier, in fact I didn't find it much more difficult than CoD:WaW. :?

I think that's only for co-op. I'm pretty sure you're always leader in sp.

Nothing pisses me off more... I've started another thread 'sorta' attacking the mods about it.

Don't accuse me of piracy boet, not when I have been waiting for EVER for this game and paid for it.
