Orange Store delivery time

DHL is actually one of the better ones. The others wouldn't have give much of a ****.
 
DHL is the pits. The guys in Cape Town just said sorry, but the clearance took place too late to get delivered today. WTF, its not my fault your moronic people made the mistake to attach it, why should I therefore be inconvenienced.

Anyways, guy at Cape Town said I am welcome to collect and he is there until 10pm so I'll be heading there tonight. What a pain in the arse.

Have to admit the lady I dealt with in JHB is excellent, she really knows her stuff and speaks the right language too.
 
Bought a Nexus 5 from Orange, delivered by DHL. Took 4 days to my desk shipped from the UK.

I'd use them again. Saves a lot of hassle with importing.
 
They did save the situation pretty well. Picked up the phone just before 8pm tonight at DHL's distribution centre at the airport. I am pleased how the dude there and the lady in JHB managed to work it out for me.

Awesome. Tell us about the phone after playing for a bit. I have never considered a Huawei myself before but there is a guy at work who loves his.

Expansys had the identical issues. An unrealistic delivery date, coupled with courier problems.

Staff were quite rude and I see the same guy, Blake Levitan, is in charge. i.e. it's a complete rebirth of Expansys SA.

A warning to all to be very careful. Customers did not get their orders when it went belly up!
 
+1 on DHL being pathetic. I had phoned them to query my parcel and they were clueless as to where it was in customs.
 
Very happy with the P6, the quality is top notch and I would go as far to say it is better than Samsung in some rewards. The fact that they include a silicone protector case in the box mean you can use the phone without worry right from the start.

After loading Nova launcher the phone feels like a Nexus 4 only a bit slimmer and slight stronger. At the price it is an extremely good buy and I might consider a P7 based on my encounter so far.
 
just ordered a p6,

hope it doesn't take too long, said 3-4 working days ETA
 
Ordered my z1 compact last week Thursday. Arrived in CT on Saturday. Got a call from DHL on Sunday to confirm my ID. Received phone on Monday. I really cant complain! Best delivery i have experienced.

Maybe i was just lucky..

1st, Z1 compact is amazing, I love mine.
2nd, you damn lucky, DHL didn't contact me at all. My phone was stuck at Customs for 3 days. At which point I phoned them up to get it sorted out. From there it was then delivered the next day. So all in all, delivery for my phone took 8 days, could have taken 4-5 days.

I was tracking my order constantly. To be honest I missed the call from DHL, so they sent me a sms saying i need to phone them to confirm my ID, which i did and they processed the order. Maybe you didn't enter a cell number on the order form?
LOVING mine too..just hoping SA will import some nice cases for it soon..
