Orange Store delivery time

still waiting for my p6...
to be fair, it was on order by request , ( as in not in stock )

hope it arrives soon.
 
Took about 5 days for me, including some epic incompetence from DHL and customs so not too bad, super cheap too
 
Got my Ascend p6...

friday Morning,

DId take some sweet time to get here, though it was a phone that was not in stock and on request.

FYI, thanks for advising on contacting DHL for clearance information, makes a difference.
 
Dammit that DHL people asked me for my ID more than twice and kept forgetting to attach it to my clearance papers. It added a while week to the delivery time.
 
Wow, you guys had some bad luck. Mine was dispatched on Monday, followed it on DHL's site (took half a day to clear customs) and had it by 3PM on Wednesday. Loving my new Z1 Compact :D

I'm waiting for something from them as well.

At the moment the status is "Processed for clearance at JOHANNESBURG - SOUTH AFRICA" and it's been that way sincce 9:24 this morning.

Do I call them now and give them my info? Or do I wait for the website to say something along the lines of "Awaiting clearance details"?

Rather give DHL a call sooner than later. The sooner you do, the sooner they can get everything from you they need to know, the sooner you get your phone.
 
Thanks guys. Turns out they were waiting on my ID :/ It's a let down that I won't have the phone to play with on the weekend. But at least I have something to look forward to on Tuesday :P

So glad some one else saw that Clarkson video. Love the bit at the end with the Mk2 GTI vs Diablo.

Rooted B510 with vRoot which also worked nicely on my Vodafone Smart 4 mini.
 
The FML's came through quite a lot yesterday when DHL called me for my ID number. That's two days after I called them and gave it to them.

I've come to the conclusion that we are at their mercy, completely!

Shame dude. I had the opposite experience hey :(

Phone rocks! The wait will be worth it :D

orange store have a selection of phones and their service is customer orientated, I guess we need to understand the lead time, as it is international business.

This said, I got a courtesy call, follow ups and tracking #'s.....still did wait longer than expected...

BUT worth the wait.
