I placed an order yesterday with order confirmed - and heard nothing about ETA.

When I clicked on a tracking number (Buffalo) , April 2023 appeared briefly before it went to 'unknown'

Maybe I'm too eager - but looking to see if this is at least in country

I did mail - and they replied a minute or so after the post .

She said it was shipped but hasn't said from where.

It looked to be a local site , so never thought anything of it . But you're right - I should have asked beforehand

This does not look like a local site at all.



Guys... Please...

This just keeps happening that site you linked basically has nothing but add an item and pay.... This is how scams continue to operate...

I would also block that card seeing as you probably entered all your card details at the checkout. Virtual Cards are precisely for this kind of thing.

But actual checkout is just card and some janky description about how to do it.

Looks like they also have no stock and you essentially placed a back order for a unit that will be manufactured next year

This is just like the "I paid the dodgy DSTV guy R233463473432737 and then cried to MYBB about it", because I didn't bother to read or do my homework (news article) thread. Eish man - guys in this day and age... You need to take 5 mins to sanity check.

Me too. Ecoflow units are not cheap as well.

Maybe OP can request a refund from them or his bank?

The US Ecoflow site points to this za domain (which doesn't seem to do direct za sales):

I don't think the site OP used is ecoflow direct. The fact that they're pretending to be ecoflow is worrying. Like this site: https://ecopowersolutions.co.za/#contact looks more legit as a distributor but they also don't to online sales.

Ordered mine from there, ordered on a Sunday order arrived Thursday. Buffalo tracking didn't work.
