Hi

Is there anyone else using Yosemite yet ?

I've had for just under a week. So far it looks and feels great. Apart from Safari crashing ever so frequently when opening more than 2 tabs or typing in the address/search bar. Oh yeah mail crashes as well. Minus the hiccups, Mavericks pales in comparison.

The system font takes a bit to get used but it's a much needed change.

Really looking forward to Handoff, not so keen on a beta version of iOS though.

Hi there,

had dp2 on. would like to know you running it as base OS or dualbooting with mavericks on the side?

im considering going Base OS with Yosemite and using time capsule to restore my files and so forth.

if possible to test few apps would be appreciated : Skype;chrome; MS remote desktop; steam; text wrangler.

on what macbook you testing if may ask as well?

Been running it as base since dp1 now on dp3 and don't have any issues at all.

The next update comes out on 21st apparently with new iTunes and iPhoto , rumors.

Thanks :) ill probably install over the weekend

DP3 seems to have gone backwards as I now have instabilities with Dock crashing and needing to be killed manually.

Safari also randomly crashes now.

Also have random graphical glitches, hoping that's not a sign of my Macbook needing to be repaired again and that it's just Yosemite since it only surfaced with DP3.

DP1 flew on my MacBook Pro, Dp2 was much slower, DP3 seems to be faster.

No issues with Chrome or Skype as of yet. QuickTime player also acts up, if you decide to fast forward a video, the sound just stops playing but the video continues. I submitted a few of these crashes to bugreport.apple.com and was asked to upload a few error logs. Luckily I don't use my Mac for business or anything serious. There also seems to be an issue with Parallels and the Mac going to sleep or closing the clamshell, the Mac bypasses the login window for a few seconds hangs a bit then reverts back to the login window.

As for the specs, it's :

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012)
2,5 GHz Intel Core i5
4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB

Just installed DP4 - new iTunes i see. not sure of any other changes........

let me know how DP4 goes. I have iOS 8 beta 4 installed. works so well and super smooth

Where'd you guys get it from, developer accounts or torrent?

Got DP1 from mega.co.nz , installed a fresh and then just get every update via AppStore.

Beta Release coming on Thursday apparently, I assume DP4 is beta?

everything else is just working as per usual for me

Yip been on DP4 since release, what would be the difference between DP4 and beta since they released so close together?
