If they succeed then the SCA will impose a sentence instead of sending it back to Masipa

Yup, 5+6 would have been a fair sentence I think, 5 + 1 makes it look like the judge doesn't respect the decision of the higher court.

This is how I see it as well.
He pretty much served his "5 year sentence" already.

She was given an opportunity to right her wrongs and she messed it up again.
