Blaming everyone but themselves for the absence of women in that top 6, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the women's league voted for DD Mabuza instead of Lindiwe Sisulu for ANC deputy president, they are the same women who did not vote for Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma as deputy president at Polokwane, just because she was on Mbeki's slate.

Her fault. Instead of rabidly attaching themselves to Zuma they could have united and agreed on a woman candidate who's fortunes didn't rest on Zuma with the other women standing for other positions. As is they probably voted for DD rather than the rebel Sisulu because she wasn't part of their slate.

They have vilified the good women (Thuli) and celebrated the weakest (Dlamini, Lyn Brown, etc) and most corrupt or incompetent. They are so in Zuma's shadow its just pathetic. SABC News - my word but the ANCWL is having a pity party.

You'd think they had been disenfranchised and told to go back to the kitchen.

There are more women than men in the ANC so apparently many women voted for men - so why are they crying about male bias.

I don't have a candidate, although I would have preferred her to win if she was supported by competent people. I'm tired of politicians in Rupert/Soros pockets. In 2019 it doesn't matter who you vote for, the real bosses are the same. All of EFF, DA and ANC are now under their control.

I'm sad I didn't have a good position from an investment point of view. I counted on the rand collapsing when she wins.

Doesn't that tell you something about your preferred candidate, that other more informed people thinks she's a really bad idea for the country?
