OT: ANC Elective Conference

Proves we are all unsure whether they going to win or not.

The top 6 doesn't have anyone from KZN,KZN is one of the provinces where they get most of the votes from, they could lose because of this

Or

They could win because ANC voters who were not going to vote will now vote because of Ramaphosa.

Yes that ^^, Ramaphosa performed very well in KZN, despite predictions that he was going to be humiliated there as it was apparently NDZ stronghold, he has the support of King Goodwill Zwelithini and the Nazareth church, it could even be said that he has the support that neither Thabo Mbeki or Nelson Mandela had in KZN, and he did all this without the help of Jacob Zuma. Yes, they are going to lose votes in KZN but they will still win.

Serious question, what makes you 100% certain that the ANC will win the next national elections?

Because I have the faintest wisp of knowledge about the political climate in South Africa... Of course the ANC will win the next election, their majority will be reduced but they're not going to be beaten yet.

54% of the popular vote in the last municipals with JZ in charge is a miracle...put someone non-Gupta aligned out front and that goes back into the 60% range.

what ****ery is going on...

Just heard that #ANC54 68 votes case about Ace Magashule/ Senzo Mchunu's 24-vote gap for secretary general is going to court at 2pm, as delegates file into plenary (where the issue is also to be dealt with) https://www.dailymaverick.co.za/article/2017-12-20-ancdecides2017-live-blog-day-five-as-it-happens/
