Hi Everyone,

Can you recommend Outlook alternative . I have the others Microsoft products but the Outlook is too expensive. I would appreciate your recommendations on a alternative to Outlook. Only use the Mail side of it.

Thanks
Vaughan

eM Client - looks and works a lot like outlook 2016. I am finding it puzzingly slow to download mail over IMAP but it is my only issue with it.
Thunderbird - very customisable with add-on's. A bit unpolished.

I second eM Client. Also has built in PGP support.

If you trawl eBay, carefully, you can find it for 1/4 the price.

True, but if you look at it from my view, R1100 for a licence that doesnt expire and it passes software auditing, peanuts.

Buy a 1 year Office 365 Personal code off OLX. I have bought around 10 licenses now for myself and family, and they all cost R200-350 each. The 1TB OneDrive storage alone is ridiculous value, never mind all the latest Office apps. I have over 3 years left on my account, and I still check now and again for a cheapo R200 year extension on OLX.

If you really want something else though, Mailbird is pretty good. There are usually big discounts for the lifetime license - a while back I think I paid around $10 for mine.

Hi thanks for the reply.
How do i know that those on OLX are legit and not been uaed already.

Thanks
Vaughan

Don't pay until you've verified the code. Some sellers haven't hesitated to send to me. Others sent it first after meeting up on Carbonite, SA Gamer or MyBB where they could see my rep.

I'm not sure if paywithshepherd.com works with intangible goods, but I would assume it does. I've used that site to great success with physical (pricier) stuff.
