Paedophile 'disembowelled'

I think such a person should first be diagnosed with pedophilia disorder before commencing any form of punishment. Not everyone with sexual behavior towards a minor suffers from this condition it seems. Apparently the term pedophilia are sometimes used very loose to describe all cases where an adult and minor had a sexual activity together.
If the perpetrator does not suffer from this disorder, then a punishment should be enforced - whether it be a jail sentence or death by lethal injection. Whatever fits the crime. If it was raping and murdering a child, then sure kill the bastard under the law, he deserves to die, he does not deserve to live, he deserves to die, death should be he's final sacrifice, I'm all for it.

He said you would be able to figure out when it is wrong... how exactly you would be able to figure out which law is wrong and which is right I don't know because it sounds rather subjective and unreliable to me but meh what do I know I'm a filthy heathen

Oh so it's once again a translation thing.
Of course, in those days a lot of things could have been seen as 'with cause'. They sure loved killing people back then.

I don't think anyone here is really taking the victim's side, but rather trying to point out that noone has the right to take another person's life, regardless of whatever crimes they have committed.
It's one thing to be relieved that there's one less murderer/rapist/thief on the streets, but it's quite another to celebrate someone being brutally murdered. There's more than enough pain and suffering in the world, the last thing we need to do is encourage more.

While I know what you're trying to say I want to add that you have the right to take someone's life in defence of your own life or the lives of those you are obligated to protect.
