Panel wants e-tolls scrapped: report

At this point i think the ANC would be stupid to drop the eTolling.. rather leave it just prior to 2016 elections(little time for other parties to react and do thorough checks on how funds will be pulled) and then drop it without saying where the new funds will be drawn from (petrol levy)

We could have told them the e-tolls is a K@K idea from the start...

We did. They still barged ahead.

Witness the power of a million people refusing to pay for their dishonest little scheme.

+1 the cowards who didn't wanna stand up and say no to a corrupt system should be made to still pay though,I say let them pay.

Will have to be scrapped for the rest of us though.

Um, sorry, a typo?

Ah sorry folks, it turns out the report says "scraped", not scrapped. Sorry about the confusion. We'll be scraping e-tolls from your cold dead fingers then.

I'm interested to know why Makhura now has to sit on this for a month before making it public. I appreciate he wants to formulate a response first, but sitting on the contents whilst he does that simply fuels un-necessary expectation and speculation.

Because they have to make themselves look good and in this case as almost all other cases it's impossible. But they will try make it their decision and try take the glory.
