Patrick Swayze dies

Patrick Swayze has died after a nearly two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Swayze's publicist Annett Wolf says the 57-year-old "Dirty Dancing" actor died Monday with family at his side. He came forward about his illness last spring, but continued working as he underwent treatments.

He'll be missed, by the ladies especially. Wife loves Ghost and Dirty Dancing, her favorite movies of all time. The man completed a season of a new TV series even recently and it was hoped that he was in recession. TV show was called "The Beast". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beast_(2009_TV_series)

Has been canceled due to his cancer and appears to have been his swan song.

And he did have some dance moves!!

Pancreatic cancer -one of the swiftest killers after diagnosis (usually death within a year?) and maybe the most untreatable. Didn't Swayze get all kinds of experimental treatment? He put up a hell of a fight.

I grew up watching Dirty Dancing. Didn't do my dancing skills any good though. He'll be missed.
