who are the decent payment gateway providers in south africa?

our small business develops websites as part of its offering and we require a way to be able to include online payments into sites for a number of different clients.

how do we go about this?

thanks :)

Hi,

I have dealt with Pay Gate before and they're pretty simple. They supply the web services docs etc....

I'm about to go this route as well and have been costing the various suppliers. So far EvriPay works out cheapest in my business and they appear to be a decent provider. Haven't yet implemented so can't say for sure yet...

Payfast (payfast.co.za). They also have ready made plugins for most major CMS's etc. which makes it much easier/cheaper to implement.

Iveri which is a part of Nedbank - they are one of the easier merchants to get on board with.
Netcash, which is now Sagepay

VCS is ok, but they need to update their systems somewhat.

Anyone using sage pay with whmcs or Host bill? Very curious to find out if they have modules available for these platforms.

They sales team is fairly useless when I comes to assisting new companies who don't have any business to bring to them.

We have a few clients who use whmcs netcash module. From what I recall these arent supported or developed by Sage page but bought via external parties.

Have a chat to Sven if you need help with Sage Pay

Used Paygate and VCS both work well, I have received good customer support with VCS and they are integrated with Ecwid if you plan on using an embeddable shopping cart that works with Facebook as well.

I use Payfast (I like the instance EFT option with most major banks)
and Paypal.

On the topic, does anyone know of a cheap debit order processor that can plugin to whmcs?

+1 integrated debit order processing would be a really awesome feature. Also interested in this.

Yeah Sage Pay doesn't write or support it, but they are generally pretty thorough.

I wrote a WHMCS plugin with NetCash (now Sage Page) a few years ago and it works very well. Quite a few people use it as well.

Generally PayFast...

But guys... lets not assume modules are that magical... basic submission form... More power to you if you wrote one....

The crux of the matter and the true question the OP should be asking is: Rates for transfer when using Payment gateways + those that have featured-sets/modules or ease of integration for most Ecomms/webapps/etc...

Has anyone seen
