It's not a "problem". The Reserve Bank passed this law and thus paypal has to abide by it.

Mmm...I hate "dissing" people, but when a company does not want to tell you it's pricing...After two emails requesting it, then being asked for my phone number, which when sent, was not used...

hi i got some info on a guy that will be selling US paypal account to South Africans and other countries. Its called the US PayPal package.
its 100% verified with Virtual US bank, virtual CC,SSN verified and location verified and will come with a 3 month subscription to a 1 dedicated US IP address for you to use when you login to PayPal.
This account will not be in your name becuase the the Name of the account holder and the SSN must match,
virtual CC is only for the verification purpose,
You can withdraw your PayPal funds to the virtual US bank witch you can manage online then use this bank account to fund a prepaid debit card from www.payoneer.com witch you can order from www.getafreelancer.com or any other prepaid card that allow you to fund using a US bank account.

when you place a order all login username password and security questions will be provided to you can change them for your own security

there website is still under constructions www.paypal4all.webs.com but will soon change to www.paypal4all.com

in his reply he told me the product will be available in the next 3 months

if want to contact the owner for any Question use the contact us tab on there website.

i will be the first to get myself one of these packages

in his reply email they was looking at $69 They also want people to register at the website so that the can have some idea on how many accounts to create when the product is available and then would be able to send out emails when the product can be purchased
 
um yeah i been wanting to open a paypal account and put money into it so i can buy stuff from online rather than use a credit card but i cant figure out how to do that o_0

So they expect one to put money in their account and hope everything will be OK? This looks like a scam to me, or very risky at best.
 
Ok. How about if I want to put money on my PayPal account? It use to work previously. Does it still work now?
 
Hmmm . . . While the world is moving closer Africa drifts further away :-( I have bought quite a few items on eBay using my 6-years old PayPal account. Now I can't top it up anymore WTF :-(

paypal is trusted world wide while other merchants are not , paypal + alertpay are the only trusted merchants and now since alertpay almost doubled their fees paypal is the better option
 
Sorry I have to repeat my post on this thread as well, its such good news :

Some excellent news, I just discovered albeit it a little late that 2Checkout (2CO) now support South Africa, fully yes fully you can sell in Rands and they will pay you out directly to your South African Bank account.

What's even nicer is 2CO will accept Paypal payments for you and then pay the funds to you. Awesome!

Finally what we have been wanting! How long have we been waiting for this!
