PC microphone really low.

I just got some earphones with a mic and the mic recording is VERY low.... i thought maby it was a fauly Mic, but i tested another mic and the volume was stil the same (very low) i adjusted the volume on all my sound things, but it still stays the same, does any1 know a volume controll that i dont know of ( i tried the controll panel one and the accessories one and they are all adjusted and not muted)

My Mixer device is: "HD Audio rear input"
My soundcard is compatable

Maby there is another Mixer device i can download??

I turned the boost on and it helped, but now there is a noise in the backround... sounds like a waterfall never stopping

are u running vista or win7? there should be somewhere by ur boost volume... a function called configure microphone...

it will ask you to speak a sentence
