PCI Express 16x Riser/adapter card

Hi all

I have started a new project and I am searching for a PCI express 16x riser card (A card that plugs into a PCI Express 16x lane and either converts it to a right angle (parallel to the m/b) or has a ribbon cable so i can manually adjust the angle myself.

Does anybody know of such a... uhm... mechanism?

I wonder what that kind of extension cable would do would to the speed of the 16x bus.
I think it would probably stall the bus.

I mean, that bus is really fast.
Have you noticed how it's always the one closest to the CPU?

One wonders. Do you know the standard dimensions of a standard single slot GPU is? I need to know how far it will stick out from the motherboard.

Yeah well it all get's processed off the northbridge and the northbridge is used for all the high speed data transmission
