PDP Authentication failure on iPad

Have a american iTunes account. Upgraded the software to 3.2.2. Did a clean install. Changed the APN to "internet". Took the sim out. Restarted. Put the sim back. Same problem. Ipad 32 GB 3G.

Any suggestions ?

I got a DATA microSIM from Vodacom that is linked to my normal Talk240 contract. Had the same PDP error. Vodacom said SIM should be active in 3 to 4 hours, but after 24 hours it was still giving the same error. I then took a prepaid SIM (had one lying around) and cut it to microSIM size, stuck it in the iPAD and got internet access immediately .... then put my microSIM back in the iPAD and all was fine. Guess it could have been a coincidence that Vodacom activated it at around the time I went through this excercise, but I doubt it.
 
Prob need to put in the AT&T sim and hit their page, then take it out and put in ur micro sim.
