People flashing brights and causing with you ?

Hey peeps!

I've had this happen to me about 3 times this year :/ usually late at night when driving home from a club etc. A car will be behind you on the highway/street and they will flash there brights at you for no apparent reason. I change lanes, they change lanes. They then drive on my ass flashing brights and trying to get me to pull over (normal cars not police), i got rid of 2 by drving like a maniac and losing them, the one i drove in circles for a half an hour until they just drove off.

Just wondering if its happening to anyone else there in the Gangsta's Paradise ? scares the crap out of me each time! I don't know what the eff is happening or what they are wanting or trying to achieve.

I drive an Alfa, so not like its a high risk car or anything ?

make sure the tank is full next time you go out. The last thing you need is to run out of fuel while driving in circles......

Yikes, i usually only ..ONLY give lights to let folks know of traps but from what you describing, i don't know what i would do O_O.

Glad you safe but those drivers are mad.

Good suggestion on the PS though what if you can't think how to get there or in an unfamiliar place :/.
 
Hectic man, I read a security news letter a while back and it said that sometimes when somebody joins a gang, they have an initiation process where they drive around with their brights on or lights off at night and the first person to react in any sort of way because of that then they should do something to that person like hijack them or even worse... Im not saying that those people were following you or are even in a gang... Im just putting it out there so that more of us are aware on what these idiots are doing now-a-days, anyway i think that you should drive to a police station right away or call somebody who can help you

This is as urban legend.

Most likely explanation: turn your bloody rear fog light off.

It's an Alfa, so no rear fog lights....

At least make sure your rear lights is working. They might be trying to tell you something.
 
Why not just smash on brakes and let them crash into you?
 
Driving with rear fog lights on should see your licence being revoked. Although, I just create a nice big gap, and let the first lane hopper deal with the douche.
 
i do have a rear fog light :P but no its not on, i'm not one of those people! And yes my back lights work, if they didn't my car tells me.

so seems likes its only me ? maybe they are after someone in an alfa and they confuse it with me :)
 
If someone flashes me from behind, and I am not doing anything wrong (eg driving slow in the fast lane) or whatever.. I just slow down until they get bored.


In my experience it is normally rude people in a rush who do this, and if they are going to be rude by flashing at me, I am going to respond by making them later than they are already.
 
Never happened to me.

But as mentioned already, best bet is to drive to a police station.
 
Why would they flash you for no reason?
Rear fog?
Driving badly?
Driving slow in the wrong lane?

Never heard or experienced this before...
 
How many people where in the car flashing you?

If someone follows you even at high speed, in my mind he means you harm.
