[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

My parents TV is no longer working, want to give them my 50a7100f and buy a 65" TV, since I got the hisense 4 yrs ago I have been out of touch with the latest TV tech. For R12-14k which 65" would be the best, I don't play games, just streamimg.

Get one with an Android operating system. Hisense's NVDAA is VERY limited in what apps you can run on it.

Bought a brand new U8K, unboxed it and set it up. Over the air update pops up, I'm like hell yeah. Lets get the latest software on this mofo. TV restarts and is bricked. Just sits on the loading screen/logo screen and never goes past that. Just in time for the weekend. Now I gotto send it back to takealot :(

Takealot should refund me pretty quickly, I hope. I mean they delivered it to me yesterday, and are collecting it today.

I knew there was a reason I didn't update mine when it popped up 2 weeks ago.

I bought Hisense 55U8G a few years ago (about 2 or3 cannot remember exactly). Anyway i recently decided to get an Amazon Echo dot unit. i thought I would add the TV but going into the voice controls I do not find Amazon or Alexa voice services, only Google and Vidaa.
I have seen some Youtube vids where they have setup Amazon voice services successfully as well as some threads on MyBB. So my question is, does not all Hisense TV's come this Amazon services even from the same region/country or is there another way of setting it up?

Hisense U8N Review | Dangerously Close to OLED? - Digital Trends

Does the Hisense U8N mini-LED TV, challenge OLED quality at a fraction of the cost? Caleb explores that question and everything else you need to know in our Hisense U8N review.

With mini-LED technology, it offers impressive brightness, deep blacks, and vibrant colors. Despite minor quirks in user interface and processing, its overall performance shines in both SDR and HDR content.

While off-angle viewing may not match OLED, its stunning contrast and picture quality make it a standout choice for those seeking premium TV performance at an affordable price point.

The A8H still going strong :) pity Hisense doesn't do anymore OLEDs but will have to see how mini led does
