[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

Hi guys, Q8600 owner here, loving the picture quality but do any of you have yellowing on the edge of your TV? mine was only at the bottom of the screen but now it seems to have spread across the other edges as well. @Hisense SA is this common for the Q8600 panels?

I was considering purchasing a Q8600 around Feb or March of next year. These 'challenges' that everyone seems to be experiencing is really concerning though. Would the Q8600 owners on here still recommend this set? Has @Hisense SA responded to any of these queries yet?

No yellowing for me. I've played around with it alot of both 4k and 1080p content, love the picture though, however no yellowing. Maybe a dud unit. Only issue is with DSTV now Content, I discovered that it's DSTV dropping the quality and not the TV itself. Have you tried casting/mirroring your laptop/cellphone to the TV as yet @jmlsauls

Cant fault the picture. I to am slightly worried with amount is "issues" reported, lack of feedback from Hisense compounding things. My first one was sent back. There is a 4 year warranty which does give me some comfort. Still have not dialed in settings must be honest.

Over weekend I did notice what looked like lag in the local dimming feature. Certain sections of the screen were flickering or slow to react as the scene changed notably in the whites. Not sure what that was all about. As mentioned before will check settings and do the firmware upgrade. Speaking of which what is the latest firmware version for the Q8600?

The yellowing is only visible on a white screen, I have a tv box where i use the mobile version of youtube and that is a white background, it does not affect normal viewing though but its starting to get more and more irritating because it is supposed to be hisenses best TV this year but the yellowing makes it look cheap. Iv casted from my phone to the tv without any issues but only used that once just o test out the feature

Any lagging issues when watching a movie casted from cellphone?

Hi Guys.

I have the Hisense 55T910UWD Curve Smart TV.

Pro's:
Beautiful picture.

Con's:
vewd / Opera OS.
Lots and lots of useless apps.
No apps that you need, like Prime Video, Netflix (only there if you trick the tv in thinking its in another country),
Kodi and many more.

Question: How can I make this TV better and how can I install apps thats not available in the vewd tv store?
Are there any firmware upgrades for it available?

I had to attach an android tv box to it, to get anything decent to watch. Not how I envisaged I was going to use the tv. Think the "smart" in smart tv got me fooled .... hehehehe

Question. How are you guys linking PC to stream media to TV. Was using my Samsung Smartapp on Samsung. Does Hisense have something similar?

Hisense have PLEX on the Q8600 which should work, not sure what if the other TV's have that installed though. Having a mibox is probably your best bet to get the best out of the tv because Vidaa is mostly useless

One way is to cast movies from your pc/laptop. Then you won't need a media player
