[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

@Hisense SA is there another name for the 65B7100UW i seem to get the H8F when looking for reviews on it. I see its on a sale at Game for R9999 -- there is a 50" and 55" as well, but according the the rep the 65" is better, but as far as i can see the only difference is just in the panel size.

Is it likely to get any cheaper than this on Black Friday?
I'm going to say it might be the same price or slightly cheaper. I think the real question here is, if it is R1000 cheaper on BF, is a month's usage worth that amount? What's the value of time based usage on a TV? Can you wait one month for a possible discount?

If one already has a working TV it isn't worth it. If they dont have anything at all, then it probably is worth it

Correct, it's only the panel size that differs. I would like to refer you to similar models overseas, but the models there are not quite the same. Very often where it may seem is not quite so.
Your next step up from the B7100 will be...
B7200
B8000
Q8600

Okay so now it just says waiting for network.

Can anybody tell me how many watts a 65 inch led TV draws, I have a U8A, but I assume that does not really matter, trying to figure out the load for an inverter

Actually it does matter as an OLED would use more than an LED and a LCD would've used more than both, it also matters on how high your backlight is, but on average you're looking at 200 to 250watts

Thanks, sorry, I meant any of the Hisense 65 inch tv’s.
Am running a Mecer 1200 va inverter with a 105 amp hour battery, barely getting 2 hours run time on the tv ,by the time the battery hits 50 %.

What else are you running? I used to get 9 hours out of the same setup with my old 50" LED with decoder, but the batteries are now pap thanks to loadshedding so I can maybe get an hour or two before it starts beeping at me.

The tv is the only thing connected to the inverter, did find out that the tv draws 185 watts according to the sticker on the back of the tv and the battery is new

I have it on good authority that GAME will have BF special on 65B7100 for R9499.
