Cool will doIf you remind me later tonight, I will try to help you out. I have the backlight option enabled, so we can just compare settings. Maybe send me a PM so long.

Depends on the source, mine is exactly the same, on DStv I can't adjust the black level but with the ps4 or pc, I canSorry I meant to say black level...![]()
This can only be adjusted with RGB type color space technologies. With YCbCr422 and YCbCr444 color spaces this gets grayed out.Sorry I meant to say black level...![]()
can you please share your colour settings? Thanks for the feedback gents.
Bit the bullet and went for the 55B8000. Really impressed considering the price.
One thing that bugs me are the dark scenes... I can't adjust the backlight as its greyed out... I assume I have to toggle something else to be able to adjust it. @Hisense SA could you me help out? Or is there a firmware update to fix this?
Netflix and DStv now work fine on my 50A6100, so they should be fine on the higher models. I also have a mibox and hardly use it now that the TV has the apps. I can't comment on Plex thoughHey guys, there seems to be more knowledge about Hisense TVs here than anywhere else on the internet. I live too rurally to check out any TVs in a shop, and I have a few questions that can't easily be answered from spec sheets, if anyone can help:
1. I assume the B7100 and B7200 are very similar panels. Does anyone know how they compare in quality to the Samsung RU7100 panels? Good for watching sport?
2. I'd love to get a Shield TV, but likely going to start with upgrading my TV first. How is the Vidaa 3.0 experience for Plex, Netflix and DSTVNow? It seems some may feel it's too sluggish to be usable. If so, does anyone have experience with Android TV on the B7200?
I reckon I'm a click away from pulling the trigger on a B8000, but I'm worried about Vidaa. If we had the H8f with Android TV available the decision would be easy!
Thanks!
Plex is not usable the B8000, it is way too slow. I use mine with apple tv, but tested it once. Could not stream full hd /4k content.Hey guys, there seems to be more knowledge about Hisense TVs here than anywhere else on the internet. The built in chromecast is pretty quick on the B8000, faster than the actual chromecast that I have. Thanks Speedster and Gtx
Pity about Plex, around 30 percent of my usage involves Plex and a Chromecast which may have to do for now. Although the newly released Shield TV is looking really good.
I turned my sharpness up to max and color saturation up to 75%can you please share your colour settings?
I just got the 65b8000 and coming from a older hisense 65 I can't really see how the b8000 is any better
@Hisense SA I have the 65U7A and running firmware V0000.01.00a.Io929. is this the latest?
Only 2018 and 2019 models support dstv now. M5010 is part of the 2017 range, sorry.I've got a 50M5010 - anyone know if it supports DSTV now? Netflix is snappy and works well
Latest will be i0202@Hisense SA is there an update for Hisense 58N5000UWG?
