Well, for starters the B7200 runs Android (note, it doesn't run Android TV as OS though), whereas the other two run the new VIDAA 3.0 OS.

As for other differences, download this file from allincluded.co.za to compare all the tech specs between the 3 sets :cool:

I have ordered a new NVIDIA Shield a week ago - it really seems great, so I can't wait for it to arrive. Now I'm looking for a decent TV to make use of the Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos. Seems like the 55B8000 might be the best.

55B8000 I use this on my apple tv, dolby vision is really worth it! Really good tv when matched with the right media player.

I'll keep you updated! Should hopefully get it early next week, but I'll be abroad from mid next week for 10 days, so I'm hoping it arrives Monday or Tuesday.

I've bought the Shield Pro on GeeWiz for R4 685 (got 6% discount on this amount as I have reviewed previous purchases on their online store). They also have 2017 Shields as well. I am really very happy with their service and prices so far.

The newer model 65Q8600UWG would be a better option at this stage because of the Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision and Local Dimming Zones.

The 55 q8600 is R11999
At Dion and makro. I recall seeing the 65 at R16999 but can't remember where.

I'm waiting for hopefully a even better price on BF

Hey man do you perhaps have a link to the tv on the Makro website? I looked but I can't really find it. Saw it on the Dion website for R12 999 though. Did you see it at Makro for R11 999?
 
Could anyone offer me some advice on what to get between a Samsung Q60R and the Hisense Q8600? Both in 55inch.

@Hisense SA What is the U.S model number for the Q8600? I can't really find it online and would like to do some more research.

Thanks for the feedback! I also recently stumbled across a Samsung Q7FN 55inch, I know it's a bit old but what are your thoughts on that unit?
 
@Hisense SA Is it possible to purchase a replacement remote ie model EN2BB27HB ?

My kids have damaged the one for the TV in their playroom:(

Good TV depending on price.
Saw it a while ago for as low as 15999.
Great for HDR content and great for reflection handling. So excellent for bright room.
I'd still go b8600 for Dolby vision and Atmos and save the money.
And if you into audio. Samsung doesnt allow DTS passthrough via optic. None of them do.
