[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

Does anyone have the issue where their Ultra Smooth Motion will turn itself back on after putting the TV in standby, even though the setting is still set to off? Then you have to turn the setting on and back off for it to work, until you put the TV in standby again?
There was a problem on some of the models think it was the B6100 and the model up from that.
There's a firmware patch for it.

So I'm using the 55A6100UW. I'm experiencing the issue where Netflix fails to connect and I have to either turn off the TV by the wall, or if that doesn't work, reload the Netflix App.

I had a Firmware update about 2 weeks ago and it included an update for Netflix, with a new look and feel. The connection issue seemed to have been resolved. But the other day, when I launched the Netflix app, a message popped up (which I stupidly didn't read extensively - but I read the headline 'Access Denied') when I clicked 'OK' the older version opened up and the connection issues have started again. It seeems to have downgraded the app by itself.

Has anyone else experienced this?
I prefer using the TV App because it streams UHD HDR really well.

@Hisense SA could you perhaps provide a link to do a manual firmware upgrade.

The TV can't downgrade by itself. What is your current firmware version? Have you tried a factory reset?

The current firmware version is V0000.01.00a.J0801
I'm hesitant to do a factory reset, because my DSTV now max logins have been reached until the next 6 months.

Hi. The talk here seems more about bigger tvs. Just wondering if there is any opinion on this TV?
Need one for quite a big bedroom

Thinking compared to this

Wondering if that's worth that much more

Hi There

Anyone own the Q8600 ?? whats your thoughts ?? I been taking to alot of sales mean and they all compare the TV to the Q60R Samsung... but upon inspection it has the same specs as the Q70R which is almost double the price..

I am considering getting the Q8600 as for the price it is really nothing can compare.. Makro and Dion Wired have it at R9999 for the 55 inch and R16500 for the 65 inch.

@Hisense ZA
I have a 50A6100UW, with version V0000.01.00a.J0801

Is there any update available?

Cheers !

Hi all.

Regarding the 50A6100UW, does anyone else have issues connecting to wifi networks?

Sometimes my TV connects with no issues, and other times, it can’t even pick the networks up

What seems to be the problem with that version? It should work well.

Some days I have to setup the Wifi and repeat the process once a week, I get Youtube errors too, will take note of the error code when it pops up again
