[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

From a quick glance, the quantum dot, the refresh rate and the smooth motion rate. All are better on the U8A, so if you can get the U8A, it will be a better buy.

Shot bud... seems like takealot is the only place that has it for R17 500.We shall wait for Dion wired to leak their Black Friday deals.

Through U*A is 2018 model, where B8000 is 2019 so newer panel and have support for dolby vision and dolby atmos.

Hi All. I know this is a Hisense thread, however looking at the Makro specials, I need advice on whether to go for the Hisense 65' (R12000 - 65B8000UW) or possibly the Samsung 55' (R11000 - QA55Q60RAKXXA) or Samsung 65' (R15000 - QA65Q60RAKXXA).

Any advice is welcome.

If the Samsungs support the dolby goodies, and your hardware can make use of it, then rather go for that. As good as the Hisense are, the Samsung still has better specs, just at a higher price.

I would say the Q60 is better than the B8000 but the HIsense Q8600 is definitely better than the Q60. So if you are willing to a little more, I'd go for the Q8600.

Hi, I bought a 43A6100UW TV recently and was able to update the TV to J603 version thanks to this forum.

However, there's still a lag in the remote control buttons when I load an app like Netflix or YouTube. The volume buttons or navigation button does not work for a few minutes. Then only they start to work.

Is this a known issue? Any firmware update available with a fix yet?

Not really, I just almost bought one because of the 12k price
Whats the price of q8600?
I've got the 65M6000UW and if you can get it on special, it's way worth it. Great TV, super happy with it. 4k gaming, very good sound, image quality is superb.

Have you reset your TV after manual update?

Hisnese specials are out but cannot make heads or tails of it on their website. Very confusing.
