Received the U7QF this morning and set it up, quite impressed with the image quality but I still need to do some fiddling.

One thing that I cannot get to work thus far is to control the soundbar (connected with optical) with the TV remote. I could do this prior with the Ematic TV box, but as it stands right now, I have three sets of volumes to adjust - the Ematic which is the source, the TV volume AND the soundbar one. I fiddled with the CEC settings but I could not get it to work properly, but hopefully there is a way to do this in a better way.

Also, the VIDAA apps are a little sparse. Plex also isn't working properly, and it doesn't pick up my NAS. Works fine on the Ematic though.

The TV will use Dolby Vision by default. It is the best option between the two and we've added a custom dolby setting for people who liked to enable features dolby like to disable like SMR. If Dolby Vision isn't available it will use HDR10+
You can try this by opening a HDR10+ movie from your external HDD or USB. It will show HDR10+ on the top right corner.

I'm still waiting for a resolution to YouTube often getting stuck on the "Loading" screen.

When are you fixing that? It never had this issue before the last update.

It's very common!!! We've been trying to get hold of you since you pushed the OTA

I made this post on 28 June 2020 (there's a screenshot in that post with the old and new firmware)
I then made this post after seeing the bug
Another user then made this post complaining about the same thing
Then another user

No, I figured you guys would know there's something wrong with the YT app and release a new firmware. That is also not the TV that I use the most, the kids use it in the lounge and they only watch Netflix

No problem I can try helping you. Is it this pic? Please confirm if this is the 6500 or the 6100. If it's the 6100, is it the A001 or a002 versions of it? To know this I need the software firmware version when you go to support, info then version. 805821-b1d3158fecc2fcf48d8f28e582332c4c.jpg

I also figured this, but I then went ahead and downloaded an HLG sample video (working) and HDR10+ sample video (not working) when played from usb.

It's only showing HDR Dynamic in my pic settings instead of HDR10+ Dynamic as it should. Also tried the built in Prime app and when that was not working the new Chromecast with GTV Prime app (also supports HDR10+) but nada.

Can only display HDR10 and DV. It is as if the TV doesn't have it at all or it shows HDR for both the static and dynamic HDR versions by mistake. I was reading up on this and in Europe they have a much newer firmware version than K0614 but my tv says it is up to date hence my question if there is newer version available and if it maybe solves this issue.

My other issue is it sometimes forgets that the hdmi is set to enhanced and I have to toggle to standard and back to fix (very annoying).

There is also huge audio delays on some of the built in apps on pass through setting for sound.

Which apps have a huge audio delay through ARC ?
