That looks like it could be a A7200F or A7100F not really a special to be honest.
Also it's an okay TV from some of the users on the forum, it is the entry level model.

There was a 65" Toshiba for R8499 listed somewhere on this website :)
But it seems it's gone now.

They are entry level yeah, look you'd have to try the A7200F to see it, some users say there is a dirty screen effect, but a lot of LCDs do suffer from a mild to low form of that.

Personally I've been happy with my Hisenses

just been to game and saw the 65" a7100 think it was and was quite happy with it

watched some 4k off youtube and the colours and pic was mile ahead of what im used to so happy with it

and plus for the price im getting im more happy

Hisense 65A7100 vs Hisense Android 50B7200. (update 2021.05.31)
7100, no 5GHz Wi-fi Band. For streaming 2 tv's or flats, it's important.
7100 Vidaa boots with a screen asking for an input (with no input). 7200 Android boots into home screen.
Remote on 7200 is much cleaner for streaming. Removing number pad, about 3/4 the size.
7100, no Spotify app available.
7100, lip-sync errors with use of Hisense soundbar. Only remedy has been to not use Dolby-digital or Dolby Digital Plus. Probably not an issue unique to this set specifically.

7100 supports Miracast, while 7200 supports Chromecast. (I prefer Miracast, it does not require an internet connection.) I believe I have tested an 7200 in store where Miracast has worked. This feature is extremely temperamental, with software updates, different devises can all influence compatibility. Testing Miracast in store with your devise is not foolproof, since the devise has to be connected to the same network as the TV. Most stores do not connect their TV's to the WiFi network.

We have had the 7200 for a while, but just got the 7100 (2020 model).

When will Hisense release new models in ZA ? This year or only next year ? Considering the 55U8QF, but might consider the U8G / U7G if they get released here (or their similar counterparts).

I am also waiting for the U8G. Looks awesome.

The new U8G does look good. I'm looking at the U7G as it will primarily be a gaming TV, and they market the U7G for this specifically. Should be cheaper too

Yeah I think I will wait a bit, very interested in either U7G or U8G. I like the brightness on the U8G for HDR content, should look pretty amazing.

The reviews look great. I wonder when they will be released in SA.
