Yeah started using my Xbox as a media player when streaming 4k Movies from my plex Server.

But can't cast from my Iphone to my Xbox so that is a bummer.

Might need to get an apple TV
 
Did anybody successfully register their hisense TV for the extra 1 year warranty?
 
Hi, does anyone know if there's a new firmware update for the Hisense 55u7a. or other software that could work.
tv is starting to give problems. freezing on main screen, anyview cast throwing me out all the time or freezing, TV getting slower etc. thanks will appreciate any feedback. Mike
 
Hi, does anyone know how to fix YouTube playing sound but no video on a 65U7QF? Seemed to stop working properly after a software update.

Yeah haven't used the TV in months so I just updated. It seems to work again for a while if I unplug until it doesn't work again - very weird.

Just search in the xbox store for AirReceiver and the 1st app that pops up get that one :) then you can cast from your phone to your XBox

Thanks for the tip, just a quick one.

Is this like Chrome Cast where the actual video is playing from the Device, or is it like casting where it replicates your phone screen?

The apps that basically clone your screen has a lot of overhead when playing videos, so then its gets laggy.

But will check it now, thank you.

Looking for some help.

My idiot friend attempted to access the service menu in my Hisense Q8600 and went ahead and changed the project ID.

All of this and he forgot what the original project ID for the TV is.

Is anybody able to access the menu and tell me what the default project ID is?
