So yea, we know that OLED is brilliant, but it's not perfect, so it's weird that you would just put everyone off every other model when you don't even have one.
I mean, what are you even using?
Not sure if this has been posted but Glitched, an SA based youtube channel posted a fairly comprehensive review of the U6H, U7H and U8H. Here is the review of the U8H:
According to the reviewer, the panel is identical to the US one so this means that we can use the international reviews to help with decision making. Vidaa is still a thing (for some reason) but stick an decent Android TV box on there and it solves that problem (PM me if you need, I have a spare 2017 Nvidia Shield)
My apologies, I clicked on the wrong reply....why you replying to me ...you should be sending this to @epah you toch

I think he's probably only seen them in shops and granted they are pretty. I stopped in Makro once and said look at those blacks and my wife was like wtf!!!so you saying he hasnt even been in the presence of one ...
I told the black sales person that I was considering a Samsung but was “worried about the blacks”. He stood there gob-smacked for a minute or two before asking nervously what I meant.I think he's probably only seen them in shops and granted they are pretty. I can't tell if you are interviewing picture quality or interface?Went to Makro and Hirsch this weekend and had a look at a few TV's.
Saw the Toshiba 65Z770. It had vignetting on all the corners and the colours weren't that vibrant THB for a quantum dot TV. Interface was snappy though and the sound was great. For the price I thought it was fairly good.
Hirsch had the Hisense U8H and U7H. There is a fairly noticeable difference in image quality between the 2, although the price difference is large too. For the price of a 55' U8H you can get a 65" U7H and about R3k change. The panel on the U7H looked better than the Toshiba.
After playing a few videos off my USB on the U8H, I was impressed and the sound on the TV was brilliant! You can actually feel the base from the tv. Although to be fair I was standing roughly 1.5m away. The Hisense rep there was adamant the TV has 4 x HDMI 2.1 ports but when we turned around to confirm, it only had 2. Think he was more shocked than I was. The 55" U8H was on sale for R20999 with a free sound bar, the 65" was not. Was keen on getting the 55" U8H.
While he went to confirm stock on the soundbar, I went to see the Samsung side. Saw the QN90B. It was something else. Honestly it was way ahead of the Hisense and the Toshiba. Played the same videos and it was top notch. I had a QN90A and this was a noticeable improvement. The 55" is on sale for R21999 with a free soundbar as well (HW B550). Also came with a 5 year warranty thanks to the Signature service so its got 1 year extra over the Hisense. Ended up taking it. Delivery is this week Saturday. Will share some pics.
For those interested, the sales assistant said the 55" and 65" C2 will be on sale next month. Said to also wait for Black Friday as there is a high chance oh them clearing last years floor stock. They have a 77" G1 on display which hopefully will be marked down close to 65" price.
