[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

Ja it needs disney. I just use the PS5 for now and that plays at 4k.

Hisense A8H 65" or Samsung Q90B 65", what would you guys recommend?
Can't comment on the A8H as I haven't seen one in person, but since the 65inch QN90B is in your budget, I'd say save up a little more and go for the 65inch LG CS, see they're going for around R37-R38k now,

or the 65inch Sony A80J, on sale for R35k until tomorrow -

If you don't care about the more finely tuned features (motion, image and colour processing wise) and better build quality i.e you want something decent and don't have a dedicated home theatre setup, then yeah, save some money and go for the A8H over the QN90B.

Unfortunately the QN90B is just a very good price (~R23k), the other OLEDs are way out of my budget.

I currently have a Samsung Q950A Soundbar to go with it.

In that case, if you can always view the tv in a dark setting, definitely A8H. Haven't seen one but even if it's only 80% as good as any other OLED, then it trumps the QN90B in my opinion.

I was only talking about the comments on the video, I found them funny. However doesn't mean I agree with the highlighted part. Hisense is nowhere near LG, not today not ever. It is like saying why get a BMW when you could get a Haval for half the price and it can do 95% of what the BMW does.

I have learned in Life that cheap is always cheap for a reason and it always leads to disappointment(Buy cheap, Buy twice). I learnt the hard way. Anyways I don't want to ruffle feathers today in this thread especially since it has been somewhat peaceful since i stopped voicing my opinions in here. I will see myself out. :whistling: :whistling:
They are using LG's panels on the OLED models, minus their processor.

Can you get Disney+ in 4k in the TV's browser? You can only get 720p using Windows & I got the same resolution using a 4k Android box with my 4k computer monitor. I don't have a 4k TV yet & the Hisense A8H tempting. The lack of native Disney+ support is disappointing though.
Honestly if I where to get another TV in the nearish future I would only get one with Google TV built in. Wont go Vidaa again. and that is for the sake of you have an incredibly limited store and i no longer feel that my TV is a smart tv just has smart aspects. ended up getting a chomecast Google TV dongle with remote and been happy with it. But it is additional complexity.

Nice one. So you haven’t found how to set Netflix, for example, to 24 FPS?

Is there a way to bring up TV settings in Netflix, for example, without having to go home/to VIDAA and into Settings there?

Have you tried applying no motion/enhancements to ‘All sources’? That may be the trick.

I have an Xbox One X at that TV. Xbox Series X on the LG C1 55”. Might have the PS5 on the Hisense so will test 120 FPS gaming soon too.
@capd I guess you found that? On the D Pad top left.

Yes, thank you. Game changer.
Wait what is the d-pad top left do? Gotta play more with the TV, but since the 65" ULED is in the main lounge now I end up watching X-files with the wife there

I think they are talking about the shortcut button to the settings on the remote.

hey guys , i have an older 55k321uw that has died on me , i am writing in desperation to ask anyone if there are any newer models in the 55inch uhd range that have motherboards compatable to my set , i believe there are and am hoping someone has tried to do what i want to already with success , i have been told that the 55k 3300uw is very similar but am just going by what i have heard , any one got an info i would really appreciate it , have the panels themselves changed much ?? , my panel is perfect and i would even be prepared to buy a broken paneled set if its guts are compatable to my screen , many thanks in advance

So whats the verdict on a 55u7wf. Are they good, any problems? No not any other model, I can get this maybe on a good cheapish deal secondhand.
