LG and OLED go together ; and with as you say they have all this cash invested in R&D. And the technology fundamentally has an issue with retention and burn in
But an LG OLED from a few years ago doesn’t dim? Because they weren’t aware?
No it is not because they were not aware, LG is improving on the tech every year, obviously an OLED from 2015 isn’t going to perform or have the safety measures as an OLED of today. LG didn’t stop investing in R&D after they created they first OLED, They push a product out and then work on making the next product better. That is how Tech works.
Everyone knows that OLEDs from 6 years ago were riddled with burn-in issues because there were no safety measures put in place .
Every piece of Tech gets better as the years go by so I don’t know why you think LG is an exception.
