On my Xbox it's on it, so I'd assume it's on the device.

i only have a pc…but this banding is also noticeable when watching tv apps so i think it a tv issue

As others have mentioned it could be a content source issue. Try play a video like this through the built in Youtube app and see if you have the same issue in the dark scenes.

As others have mentioned it could be a content source issue. Try play a video like this through the built in Youtube app and see if you have the same issue in the dark scenes.

Theres no banding on hdr videos and Dolby vision it only ony on SDR content and wallpapers

Ive asked for an update at hisense mybe it'll fix it but I doubt it

It's a 4K tv, U8K is simply the model number.
