[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

So late at night I normally have the tv volume at max 10, other times I have never went over 15. Yesterday I switch tv on and even at 20 I can barely hear anything. Settled at 25 for late in the evening when everything is quiet.
Nobody changed any settings and I went into setting and most things are on standard.
So what could cause this?

Does anyone know why the YouTube app on the Hisense U765H doesn’t stream in 4K?

Stats for nerds always shows the viewport as 1920x1080 *2….yet the current/optimal res shows 3840x2160. No network issues, no dropped packets, 100Mbps connection with no other devices…. Just seems weird…

Not a content issue perhaps, have you tried playing a video that was previously fine? Have you tried leaving it unplugged for a few minutes and the try again?

Are you able to manually select 4k? Edit, see you say it say 4k selected. That is odd

Did some reading. It seems the viewport is just the UI, not the resolution of the video being shown.

I used my laptop to test using a browser for youtube instead of an app (chrome). And it showed the same stats, but when I changed the window scale from 300% (windows recommended) down to 100% both stats showed 3840x2160. So doesn't seem like an issue.

Did it on Netflix, Youtube and Disney.
Yesterday evening it was back to normal again.

I would definitely go for the Hisense, they brilliant for the price. That Q60 is an entry level Samsung qled and doesn't come close in specs.
Thanks I'm weighing up 75 vs 85in as its for my poor sighted mother
