[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

So busy doing some research for a near-future TV purchase. Looking currently at the 65E7N pro or 65Q6N or the TCL 65C655.

It looks like the Q6N and the C655 are 60hz screens but say something about 120hz, so a bit lost on that.

Anyone got any recommendations or experience with these ones?

E7n pro

I am leaning towards it due to the 144hz and it being the 'newest' model. But its a bit more expensive than the other 2. I see its currently on special at Makro for 10999, whereas the others are 9999. Problem is I am not buying right now, but soon. So will probably miss the special.

I guess what I am leaning towards then, is whether the Q6N vs C655, which of them would be a better buy. Or do I save up to go E7N just because it is better than the other ones.

Takealot & Hirsch seem to be having quite a good sale on Hisense & Toshiba. I really want a new TV ASAP and I'm not sure whether to wait for Black Friday or buy it now as these TV's are quite cheap. Do I wait or should I go and impulse buy. Are Black Friday specials even specials?

Depends on your budget, and what TV you want to get.

If the current price ranges get you the TV you want, then buy it now in my opinion. Black Friday is largely a farce in this country.

Generally no they aren't that much different, picked up an older Toshiba M550 for R6k, better unit than equivalent 55" at same or higher prices

Kids need a TV for Xbox
Specs on these seem similar

Any advice as to which would be a better buy?

Takealot cuz ebucks

I would look at the m550ln much better than the c450m not sure on if it's better than the E7N pro as that's 144hz

So one thing I will say, I picked up the Toshiba M550 as the price was really good for a 55" and it's mid range. But yeah the opening of the TV is so different to the Hisense, I mean you have to take it out the box the old fashion way, but at least it had cardboard and plastic in places where you take it out of the box.
Where as the Hisense you unclip things and the box just slides right off, that's on 3 of them I've had over the years.

How's the Toshiba's brightness? Read a few reviews and I ended up with the Hisense. Don't regret the purchase

It's not too bad, though does seem to be a bit darker, I mean it's really a hisense, menu the same, vidaa as well. But you don’t have eco mode under the backlight controls.

Check this out on takealot: Hisense 50" E7N 4K UHD QLED with Quantum Dot Smart TV & Dolby Vision

Bought this yesterday , on FNB day, without any research. Felt like a good deal reading the specs and comparing to others I saw on TAL around the same price point.

To be used in bedroom. Gets delivered today !

Price was R5k. I will get back 15% back in ebucks, so felt like a good deal.

Then now I come this thread , to see if bought the wrong TV !!

Is the e7n pro you guys taking about? Really interested to see how it compares against my 65" oled, even if it is now 4 days old.

The Pro is the 144hz and your oled will easily beat it, the E7N is basically a mid tier tv

Bought the E7H last year also for R4999. Nothing great about the tv. Seems the last letter H or N is just the year it is made. So probably the same tv.

Yeah the last letter is the year, H is 2022 model, there will be changes and sometimes it can be big ones

Morning all, long time follower of this thread. Apologies for the question, but what is the difference between the E7N pro and the Q7N? I am looking to buy a new 75" TV, and just can't bring myself to fork out for the U7N, so looking at alternatives. Responses appreciated.
