Petition for DStv to remove ANN7

Bunch of idiots calling for censorship when the exact opposite will be effected
I had not seen this Channel until the weekend after the brou brou hah
Now it is on my required daily watching list.
Just like we have Al Jez to balance out the crap CNN and Sky spew this little Gupta gem gives a whole new insight to SA politics

I hadn't see the use of that word anywhere outside of Age of Empires till now - and definitely not in written form. I like! :)
 
As many others have said - cancel your account, even if it is for a month. Online petitions and such amount to fsckall.
 
Dstv will remove it if subscribers boycott, a petition... Like do those ever work??
 
who still have it? why not just stream what you want to see?

I think they are hemorrhaging anyway.
Why should I pay for things I do not want to watch.
 
MULTICHOICE: ANN7 TO BE TAKEN OFF DSTV

JOHANNESBURG – MultiChoice has announced that it will not be renewing ANN7’s contract when it expires in August.

During a briefing on Wednesday, CEO Calvo Mawela said they made mistakes in the past and added there was no corruption.

“Mistakes were made, with regards to lobbying process and failure to do due diligence, but there was no evidence of corruption or illegal activity.”

The announcement comes after the DA said an investigation by the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) was underway.

The party lodged a complaint with the authority in November in 2017
