Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

I've only ever done bacon and fillet (on the Walmart-bought Ninja). Philips graciously replaced the faulty airfryer recently bought through Takealot.

If you want slap chips then cook the lower heat and longer, maybe 170deg for 15min.

Must I explain to you again that your Philips is not rated in the top 5 of most review sites? You starting to sound like Epah and Backdoorboy. Absolutely no logic.
Most air fryers do exactly the same thing, your starfish add no advantage and does nothing but marketing scam.

Talking of McCain's, me and a friend, deep fried 160kg of McCain's during the inter school sport day, a few weeks ago. I doubt the Air fry chips would've sold out. And I doubt we would've fried that volume in an air fryer in the time we did.

Just about everything tastes better cooked in other ways.

Airfryers are convenience cookers, the modern day equivalent of a microwave. Jack of all trades, master of none*.

*except maybe sausage.​

Ninja is the best airfryers on the market. There is no dispute in that. But they are not easily available in South Africa, if at all. There is nothing that can compete. Philips is the best in South Africa.
 
You mere mortals. In addition to my air fryer I bought a nutribullet every grain cooker. Bwahahaha

You don't understand. Not the Ninja or any of the others rated higher than the Philips have a starfish or any other similar gimmick. So basically they all more or less the same and cooks more or less the same. Yes there will be differences in quality or size or preset times, but that should not affect your cooking. What makes a Philips better than other air fryers?
In fact looking at the rate these Philips's break, I think they would be rated lower in SA than many others.

It's not that Philips is better, it is that Philips is the best. All the other air fryers in SA are either completely unknown or has such a low standard it won't make an official review.
