Ok - mine vent straight out from the back.I meant XL in above post.
He has the older model XL, that is why. The checkers model has most of the features he mentioned minus the extra drip tray and grill only option.Ok - mine vent straight out from the back.
Mine has never caused any smoke. So maybe Philips fixed it with the redesign . I don’t know. You guys with the Philips should take care of yourself. I have never seen smoke coming from an air fryer. I have wondered in the past about that mesh grid that can't be cleaned properly and old food will start burning and can cause cancer.
What was the cause of death for the inventor of the Philips smoker?
This makes no sense. I have the mesh and the grill and both can be cleaned easily and properly; even the element in the airfryer can also be cleaned. You guys with the Philips should take care of yourself. That's an air fryer. Not an airfryer.View attachment 1444361
My first time using an airfryer, if I like the chicken I get out from this I'll buy one when I get home next week.
My colleague has one, she said 20 minutes per side at 180 then 10 minutes at 220 degrees.
WTF is that thing ?View attachment 1444361

https://www.checkers.co.za/All-Depa...Rapid-Air-Technology-Airfryer-XL/p/10731091EA usually goes for R2.5k with the savings card. Will probably be on sale again just in time for Januworry.I don't know the intricacies of airfryers, don't care much for branding as well, as long as it gets the job done it's fine by me.
And when I buy one it will definitely be a cheapie.
