The XXL is amazing but too expensive unless you can get it at R3800 or less when on sale.

Just came by to see the rude, hostile comments from some members. Those wanting honest feedback on Air Fryer/AirFryers can look elsewhere. MyBroadband Forums have really gone to s#!t, not by all but taken down by a few unruly members with no human respect.

I know. I did the same.
Maybe a couple of other tips for everyone.
Keeping your Philips XL Clean and some other Tips:
• To clean the Grid and Basket.
Just take out the basket holder and the basket/grid, leave the basket in the basket holder, pour some sunlight liquid in and fill it with very hot water and let it stand. You can then just use the back of a soggy sponge to clean the grid. Very easy!
• To clean your Philips airfryer and fan:
Yes! Your airfryer also needs to be cleaned. Take a torch and look at the element! Sies man!
Get a spray bottle, fill it with some sunlight and water. Put a dry cloth at the bottom to catch the dirt and water. Now use the spray and spray the element and top properly! Let it stand and repeat maybe with clean water (no soap). Dry everywhere you can reach and switch it on for 5 minutes (with the basket in!)

You can also turn your airfryer upside down and use a scrub to clean the element side. Switch it on a again afterwords for 5 minutes (with the basket in).

• The drawer for the Airfryer start to become a bit squeaky and tight over time.
Get a can of Q-20

Remove the basket and grid. Close the drawer. You will notice part of the rail/slider sticking out. Put a little bit of Q-20 in the slots. Magic!!!
• Cheesy and sloppy stuff on the grid (like those fillets with the sauce in):
Put some baking paper on the grid!!

• Instead of brushing food with oil, just put the chips or veggies in the basket, use spray and cook and spray it all!!!

Troll then, says the guy who posts in an a Philips thread just to say it is overrated. Now that I have linked you to some proper input, write a comparison to your experience and the air fryer you are using. I bet you are just here to just piss on the floor....
Wish there was a way to tag you lot so it can be filtered to a the bottom and those who put effort into reviews and comparisons can be bumped to the top.

The title of the thread is "philips airfryer anyone have", I do, tried it and the video matches my experience, only I dont think its dumb but it is overrated. I did nothing to warrant the hostility and rudeness that comes from you or Epah.

You are trolling and have added nothing of value, nor dit you bother to read my experience posted various times. Same goes for many others who drown out the good input and effort put into their experience. Again, if you have no interest investing in a Philips not consider someone with first hand experience, why are you posting here?

This won't interest the trolls and will add value to the thread. I am experimenting with doing it a bit differently. Added veggies as first layer and chicken pieces on top. Lots of butter and pepper. Wrapped in foil. Interested to see how it turns out.
