Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

You talk absolute hogwash. I am just taking you up on your hypocrisy. Sure, I can be a chop some times, especially if I didn't have my coffee, but you have no intention to bring spomething of value. You blatantly ignore the in depth opinions with actual results I post, because it goes against your agenda, whatever it is.
You don't even realise that you are describing yourself.

I accepted other view points, by saying it isn't dumb, I will add that it has its very limited place in the kitchen, I've even said each to their own.

Good Day Sir.

Also @jclpmd ,outside of your interaction with me in this thread, I don't recall ever engaging with you or knowing you, so my comments are towards your posts/content here and not you as a person, also I read it in light of all the others who come here to troll. What sometimes is meant to be jesting seems to have attracted a lot of trolling. I don't think it makes sense for me to add anything else of value as it will get drowned out by the trolls and jesting, of which I am guilty myself. Good night.

Gone are the days of Mybroadband being the go to place for tech advice and people discussing things with respect and enthusiasm. We can thank you for being the Nord of the South that ushered in this era. People like you just spew uncontrollable, unfiltered vulgarity.
This includes you as well Epah

We posted at the same time. Sorry for coming forth as a chop.

I blame @backstreetboy and @epah influence on that. (jokes)

So the chicken was fcking delicious, crispy on the outside, moist on the inside and because I didn't use oil it wasn't fatty at all.

My wife now says she wants an airfryer. Just had some salads with the food, and it was cooking on its own while I was sitting with the kids next to the pool.

Yap, I make chicken 95% of the time. The couple of weeks I was without an airfryer, using the oven again, beside cooking times, the results just can't compare.

They should rename it a Chicken fryer, get rid of the chips image some have.

So 50 minutes to make chicken, Yeah you got the wrong one mate. Get an airfryer and you can make chicken in 18minutes.
OMG please read your own Philips Bible and explain to us how you cooking a whole chicken in 18min? In fact the only pieces of chicken that will take only 18min, according to your Philips bible is breast and wings. But hey we all know you just talk BS and can't cook, that's why you own a Philips.
They barely use any electricity, You will save Hundreds of rands per month on electricity alone I kid you not. And you save by not buying as much oil as you currently are.

Philips XXL 2225watts
Intant Vortex 1700 watts
Goldair 8L air fryer 1400watts
Milex xxxL 1800watts

It is people like you that like the other member said, chase happy owners away from a product. Even potential owners. After reading this thread Philips was the last option I would consider.

Made some wings in the air fryer today. Weren't bad at all. 20221219_111600.jpg

This won't interest the trolls and will add value to the thread. I am experimenting with doing it a bit differently. Added veggies as first layer and chicken pieces on top. Lots of butter and pepper. Wrapped in foil. Interested to see how it turns out.

The results are epic!!! 30 minutes.

Smells amazing!

Veggies super soft. Carrots a bit medium.

I have opened the top of the the foil now and grill it for 5 minutes.

Results incoming.

Philips doesn't stop to amaze.

What I found works best, because the element is so close, same with my toaster oven, is to add the sugary / sticky / sweet sauce only for the last 5 - 10 minutes. So cook plain for the first 15 minutes. Or put chicken in foil and let it soak in the juices and sauce and then open for the last 5-10 minutes.

I wont disagree, every Philips product I have works like its advertised and lasted way longer than anticipated. Locally they have reduced their range as the competition is thrashing them in all sectors except Airfryers and Irons, Irons dont make much money

Should tell that to my Philips Oneblade, Sonicare Diamondclean, Hair cutter and Philips nose trimmer I acquired in the last year alone.

Ouch Sorry, 2 year global warranty, take them to task if you within the timeframe.
I havent tried much of the grooming range, sonicare is too pricey, I prefer the Oral B Braun range

Veggies first layer: Carrots, sweet potato, unions, green pepper, garlic

Chicken: 4 pieces, all I had left in the freezer.

Add salt, pepper and butter (I used a tad too much)

Wrapped in foil. 30 minutes 190 deg.
Open: 2-5 minutes 180 deg.

Moist to the bone.

Sound up:

Still so much space left in the Airfryer. Can easily cook for 4.

This one. Got in Cashmere Grey, black was too common

Are they big enough to cook chicken pieces and how long does it take?

I looked at them but they looked way to small to be functional in my kitchen.

Something else I like about my XL model and the XXL model is the drawer. Fully loaded and it does not fall over. The other airfryers and air fryers you have to take the basket out and put it on a counter.
