Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

Nah, if I need a bigger area I'll use the oven.
The 4.L is in the reality a <3L when it comes to actuall cooking capacity, if one's partial to a roast chicken the XL 6.2L is the smallest one to get

To messy and air fryers work so well for chips, apparently.
Outside South Africa soggy chips are universally reviled, so when people overseas praise air fryers for their chips it's because it helps them avoid getting soggy "fries".
  1. cut chips
  2. soak for 40 mins
  3. dry pat/shake with kitchen towels
  4. toss in bowl with bit of oil
  5. preheating 4 mins 160
  6. 23 mins at 160
  7. flip chips
  8. 10-15 mins at 160 or use 180 for more crispier results.

Otherwise it's chips at cafe/or fry.
So a cooking time of 40 minutes for chips in an air fryer vs a cooking time of 10 to 15 minutes frying in oil.

And? Not everything is a race to finishing line. Your ****ing also 10 to 15 minutes?

One or two tablespoons of animal fat on the bottom of your air fryer, preheat for for 2 to 3 minutes, chuck your McCain's skinny fries and cook as per directions.

Straight up the only way you'll make oven chips ever again.

When I do chips in the air fryer, it's in for 16-18 minutes. 40 minutes is overkill
