Picanto engine lights

Actually electrician said my wiring in perfect condition, everything genuine kia parts,
No issues that are plainly obvious,

I think even kia will struggle with my car,

Unless they know the secret code to get it going again,:D

As this all happened as my odo clicked over to 104000

Actually rickster, besides renting a car and suffering with no car, hasn't cost me a cent,

If you don't count the towing ordeal, not fun with a rope, much prefer the bar with the spring.....

Well if you don't take it to people that know what they doing then it wont get fixed.

Brodies garage was established in 1927, they are the best.
 
An official Kia manual should tell you what that combination of light mean. I had a similar on an old BMW and mechanic said it was spark plugs not performing. Sudden off like that can only be electrical. The pump system is rather robust. You'll probably have to replace some or other doohicky. Can't hurt to call Kia and describe the problem to them in detail with all your notes.

Was exactly there earleir on Friday,
Said to me, bring us the car first before we can tell you anything,
Serious bunch of snakes those guys, they just see Christmas coming as I'm gonna have to tow to get my car them.

Regarding brodies garage, I'm a bit unsure if i should?

I mean what can they tell me that a Auto electrician can't?
I mean I've managed to stump 3 diffrrnt experts with ecu's and mechanic and electrician

At this point can only realistically take it to kia right?

Unless you guys really think brodies is better than kia themselves, I'm willing....

Just take it to Kia and be done with it. Stop being an askhole.

If your starter motor is turning the cam shaft (normal cranking sound) then we can assume the problem is not immobiliser or battery. Be careful not to wear out the starter motor and battery.
Check the Hyundai fanboy forums how to do a sparkplug test. It might be better to let a mechanic help you with this. If you hammer on about remortgaging your house they won't be keen to help you unless you know what you're talking about. All the information about non-starting car is on the internets, just for different models and manufacturers but basics the same.

You might be right here, but after a week with no solution, its understandable,

Anyway long story short, another mechanic said its probably the key Immobilizer antena
That worn out, gonna try Monday and if not tow to kia as i exhuasted all possible options.
 
Hi.where abouts are you.if its crankig and motor is turning.have you checked for spark amd can you hear or feel the injectors firing.i know om the yaris if the transpoder chip or pickup is damaged it will still swing but it wont fire up.

Jhb east Rand, i definetly agree with you regarding Immobilizer, engine does swing perfectly, but wont fire up,
And lights for engine check engine don't come on and Immobilizer don't turn on as a test,

Also i never hear the pump priming,

So its something quite strange and uncommon,
Also no way (that I know of) to recode my key if i must change aerial besides kia themselves
 
You can maybe check if the pump is getting power.do you have a spare key?
