anyway all; thought Id share an update from the kia customer service I contacted online;
I saw they dont even respond to queries on hellopeter; and I though to go through their official website and post exactly my issue;
(if I dont get any response? still not sure what to do next)
here is the copy and pasted reply; ( just replaced my name and the mechanics name with xxxyyzzz)
Good day xxxyyyzzz
Kindly note that Auto Electrician has been contacted to advise on the turn around time for the wiring repair and they were unable to provide us with the turn around time.
Please note that xxxyyyzzz did however request that the repairs be treated as a matter of agency.
Kindly note that we will follow up on this matter on your behalf.
Kind regards
kia customer services
not sure what exactly to make of this?
I dropped my car off on the 3rd of august, and almost 2 weeks Ive not heard anything, no reports on what is the problem, no reports on how they intend to fix it;
and the guy everytime I speak to him is very evasive and not answering my questions;
Ive not gotten a quote or an idea of what exactly is the problem; they say they cant connect the diagnostic machine of theirs and get the codes;
pure BS as I was able to with my el-chepo ELM327, they did though ask for an authorization for R3500 but Im not sure what this is for, no quote was presented to me;
so what they trying to do here? I have not a clue;
anybody ever experience this before with their car? same dealer (kia edenvale) seems hellopeter is rife with complaints that not answered about them;
what suggestions are open to me? can I rock up and ask where is my car and take it back and find somebody who I can get proper updates from?
(if I even know what is the problem);
whats my next option available to me?
