Only one of the Pizza Hut branches is Halaal, no big deal really. They just need to bring it to Cape Town already!

It is about the principal for me. I dont support halaal. That is why I dont support any restaurants in The Zone in Rosebank Mall either. They all have big halal signs up...so I dont support them.

My local debonairs uses beef salami, can't say I've tasted the pork variety. Halaal or kosher salami is beef only.

I personally couldn't care less, it's not my fight to fight. If something tastes good then I'll have it. If I feel for pork then I'll go somewhere that serves it. I don't understand this 'principle' thing though, all you're doing is spiting yourself because it's not likely to change - if a Muslim or Jewish restaurant owner refuses to serve pork then there's nothing we can do about it...
