Pizza! Pizza! Pizza!

I might get roasted in this thread. But what I've found to be decently tasty is the Debonairs chicken triple decker. Remove sweet chilli sauce add tikka sauce. Remove sweet bell peppers. Add pineapple.

The tikka and the pineapple go well together

Well cant say im against you but debonairs?

Seriously? Didnt you know microsoft bribed people to buy debonairs?

Frozen pizza with rubbish sauce cooked in a electric oven?

Like eating cardboard, only with some sauce.....

Theres a good reason most of the best pizzas are made in wood/charcol based ovens

My favorite is pizza perfect tikka chicken, exact opposite of yours; no pine instead mushrooms add onion avo and extra cheese,
(Probably even cost less than your cardboard)

Tried colcaccio, very expensive, that raj, and more choices but not better,
A lot of showmanship and fancy ingredients, that overpriced,

What i always ask, how do you prove those are really rare mushrooms from some place i never heard of,
I mean they come from the same can as pizza perfect, except cost 3x

Well I didn't say it was my favourite pizza. I prefer the wood oven pizzas. But I said its decently tasty and enjoy it.

Amateur.

Problems:

1) cheddar cheese.
2) bases too thick
3) bases sweating on the boards and plates they're sitting on
4) bases look pre-made and pre-baked

What you have there is an open grilled cheese on cardboard.

:p

Whilst I be half drunk , let's defend oorself...

1) yep, there be cheddar, but this MIX also has sheep milk cheese, Feta and Gouda...
2) bases, handmade to my personal specs, by my baker....
3) after prepping for an hour, these pizza's are placed on cold perforated metal bases for thirty minutes before cooking to reach room temp before cooking!
4) as per line 2 , handmade to my specs..

Slanche' and thanks for the fish...

/moose scurries out the topic to remove pizza no.3 from weber..

No bacon? No thanx. What's ironic is that we used to have a brilliant pizza that had bacon on when they were here before.

They say "It's Halaal!" with pride like it's a good thing or something.

No bacon pizzas? How could they be excited about that? Shame on you Pizza Hut.

The bases are pre made. At least around Cape Town. Enough reason to avoid!
Ok I cannot vouch for what is being done there but what I can tell you is that Deb franchises are strictly monitored by FamousBrands (The holding company for the brands)

All the ingredients for the products are shipped from Famous Brands depots across the country with the exception of Fizzy Drinks that come from ABI locally to each franchise and Veggies that you buy from a market of choice.

The bases are shipped in the form of bags of flour and a secret blend of additives... yeast and salt basically.

Water is added from tap in most stores although it is supposed to be mineral water. They will never admit to this but I have worked as manager at 5 different stores... JHB PE and ELS.

I still have friends that work there and I still visit the BOH at times and there is most certainly no frozen bases.

What I can tell you is the AMs in these franchises are like Nazi bloodhounds. If they see a store not adhering to regulation store is closed immediately for remedial action.

If manager and franchisee does not remedy the problem the stores are de branded within a week.

I have also worked as a Area/Franchise Representative and have seen franchises fined for using Golden Cloud instead of Debonairs house brand flour.

Still I point out... shiddy company. Shiddy Pizza.
