This is so sad, I used to spend about R1250 on Rain a month, after watching the service go from far to worse I decided that I would be canceling my service, mind you we were in the process of moving.LOL 4G Unlimited on home router https://speedtest.mybroadband.co.za/result/15306420
Is this even allowed to be called 4G I mean it's slower than 3G...

Nice, that looks like a gigabit connection right? who is your fibre provider and how much does it cost? This is so sad, I used to spend about R1250 on Rain a month, after watching the service go from far to worse I decided that I would be canceling my service, mind you we were in the process of moving.
Towards the middle of August we finally got fibre installed, its funny even now I notice when a webpage takes longer than usual it will never be as bad as Rain, I'm just glad not a cent from my account goes towards them.

And yes it costs less than what I was paying those money grubbing scumbags.
Hi @MalcolmtWhat a SHOWER OF **** ...
I'm in Parys, Free state, The connection speed has been PATHETIC, it to the point of being unusable.
I've looked around their site to see how to report a problem online, I see NOTHING.
Take a look at the attached speed test reports and tell me if you're proud of your product !!!!
I'd be better resurrecting my old dial-up modem.
I'm looking forward to your response, it better be quick, and it better be good.

I'm done with RAIN. I had various support consultants call me and none of them could resolve my problem.
It's such a shame as I've been a Rain customer ever since they launched, and to see their product deteriorate from excellent to good to bad to poor to now pathetic is the last straw for me.
@rain_mobile we've been down before.
You have my details, I've spoken to numerous support consultants for over a week and not one could assist in resolving the problem.
I have a question for you. Are we being throttled? answer honestly.
You simply cannot call this a best effort service when one cannot even browse the internet.
Being on the R479 package, I would expect to get at least a third of the max speed listed throughout the day irrespective whether it's peak time or not, but this is not the case. Here is a suggestion for you, How about sending a team out to my area to inspect the towers for any faults? It's clear the support consultants sitting there in the office cannot seem to find the problem and I point blank refuse to talk to anymore consultants as it's a waste of my time and theirs..

Morning @fika23I live in Capital park , and RAIN is useless here , each time I have a meeting I have to buy vodacom data to connect and yet i have unlimited subscription , its very effective for whatsapp chat, video and call are impossible. I pay 479 a month for such a service. Here theres no RAIN at all even in Summer . My closest tower is less than a kilometer but I can barely stream youtube
I'm with Axxess at the moment, planning on switching to Atomic Access or Cool Ideas, just waiting out the 6 month period for the clawback then moving over. Costs about R1399 a month as I've referred numerous people to sign up and they're all pretty happy.Nice, that looks like a gigabit connection right? who is your fibre provider and how much does it cost?
