Their App is pretty awesome now. Also have not had issues with them for years now.
 
The ability to connect to the clientzone and app when capped on mobile, dsl and LTE is needed.
 
I am with Afrihost now for more then 10 years. Very satisfied with service, product and price. Always helpful. My only wish is that fiber will be installed in my area. Lots of freedom to manage proct packages and the BEST IS THERE IS NO CONTRACTS!!

I am happy with the service I get from Afrihost. I don't need to contact them a lot and when I do, fortunately, their help has been good.
 
I definitely have no issues with Afrihost. About 3 years ago I had a problem and it was sorted out in 10mins.
 
Fibre service & speed is mostly OK, but I dread contacting Afrihost support.
When reporting any problem (including billing!), you have to confirm that you have "restarted your router" before they will listen to anything further... Getting a straight answer to a slightly technical question is almost impossible.

ClientZone is great.

Had a fairly good experience with Afrihost until I ended up cancelling my Rain line with them last month after months of terrible connectivity. Technically it was more Rain's crappy service than theirs that pushed me over the edge but Afrihost could have done more to help me get responses and service from Rain. Their twitter support is usually quick to respond and I found it was the most effective way to get a response. But in the end they couldn't help me get more than 0.21Mbps from my fixed wireless Rain connection after previously getting 35Mbps+ dl speed.

ClientZone is great.

They claimed I used 348GB on my capped fixed LTE line through Rain which had an average dl speed of 0.21Mbps for the month. I disputed it and this is the response I got:

"Good day

Hope this email finds you well

please be advise that, back round data from the connected devices such as your phone can move data even if you not using the phone,
cause the are some apps which run at the back round and they update themselves without your permission as specially when it is connected through the wifi.
the reason why I am stating this it is because some apps wont update using mobile data, however as soon as they are connected to the wifi they start updating and that alone can move a lot of data.

I nearly had aneurysm trying to read it and just decided to cancel my line and reverse the debit order for that month as I refused to pay for non service.
 
Very slow weekends lately and my account disconnect countless times when im using my account... While my Vox account work without any problems. And Telkom could not find any problem either.. So the problem got to be with Afrihost...
 
Afrihost is excellent ... just don't lie to me .... "we are currently experiencing high call volumes ...etc" then answer straight away. Change the replies to reflect the actual waiting time! also the ticketing system doesn't work - on multiple calls to fix a situation you have to repeat the reason for your call to each operator - its better to use one operator who becomes familiar with each particular customers situation.
 
I have never had any problems with Afrihost. They respond quickly, are friendly, cost effective and helpful. Then I haven't even touched on their good value for money
 
I would still be with them, if it wasn't for coverage issues.
 
Prices are generally the same between ISPs but Afrihot's service is better than their competitors.
 
I have been with Afrihost over a year and I cant complain. Exellent work guys keep it up!
