Yeah happy on my 200/200 line and hardly had any issues.

Just have one issue where I get frequent short disconnects from games and my son gets it on teamspeak where it will cut him off the channel. I am not sure if it is the line or the router so looking at getting a new router to test it out.

Only thing is that their customer service setup is a little antiquated they should look at updating that with a more online and app based system to check and test line and communicate with their support systems.

Otherwise really happy with the service thus far.

I have had no downtime/speed issues since moving to them last November.

Accounts related support, very happy. Their technical support however, eish! Tickets takes days, sometimes weeks to be answered. When I joined I called them the find out about their news server. Nobody knew what I was talking about!? I called back out of pure disbelief, same thing. I then submitted a ticket asking very plainly what their news server details were and received a response pointing me to their announcement page for maintenance and outages. I then went the "private" news server route. More than a month later I received the correct reply from the same staff member so kudos to him for not giving up.

Technical support aside, very happy with them and getting exactly what the package promises.

Love that they've set up direct access to South America and in general their network is usable and stable.

However, it seems their support staff really need to get more technically skilled up while being able to read in a call what the frustrations are. Get invested in your clients problems and you'll solve them.

The way they justify their speeds is pretty poor. You have to run a speed test to one of their servers. I pay for a 100/50mbps line. The max I have ever gotten to an external server like Vodacom is 50 down and about 20 up. That is with my computer plugged into the router with a network cable. Whenever I complain that I do not get the speeds that I have paid for they put it down to WIFI.

I have been with one other ISP on the same line and I got pretty close to what I had paid for.

Pretty much what everyone else said. Good group of guys trying to make good internet for the country.

Ticket system is lackluster but if you're able to hop on here and talk to the guys in charge they seem to get things done.

Finally getting proper speeds now that Frogfoot did their upgrades in my area - CISP's network seems to be working perfectly now that my fibre provider does its job. Ticket response times are slow and it's like drones run the support for any technical-related issues e.g. throughput issues, latency issues etc. One achieves way more by communicating with @PBCool and @TheRoDent here directly in the CISP thread on the forum. Big thumbs up for having forum reps though!

Never had a problem and is always on. A tad pricey but rather that than having continual connection problems.

Ok . Netflix is fine . Definately think they are throttling my iptv at night and international downloads. Wondering if anyone else having the same issue?

Not sure why there so many complaints regarding service from CISP? I have been with them since they started up and to be honest i have had nothing than excellent customer services. Our fibre line runs smoothly at 200mbps . Spent extra money and had access points installed where wifi signal was a bit bad, and runs perfectly. So i rate CISP as EXCELLENT!

I have been with Cool Ideas since January 2019 (Openserve). My 100Mbs is really flying. The on-boarding process was fast and efficient. I have no issues with downloads or streaming.

Just recently joined, so far no issues, just double billing, but resolved quickly.

Totally Agree with you Ryan, They would be great if they didnt throttle the streeaming, Got feedback this morning that its the US Servers, if we check in the IPTV admin we can see clients ISP's and Connection Speed Status which support your argument.

Cool Ideas even sent out Tech People to come have a look and they couldnt find any issues with my setup, line speeds are good, Ping & Jitter are good but it buffers......

Things have been good so far. My only hassle was dealing with their ticket system and support. It is long overdue for an overhaul.

Been with them for over two years now. It really is hit and miss with me.

A few times, they are great and they help as much as they can.

Other times, they just don’t bother to help further. There was one moment where I had constant disconnects for three months and they never bothered to help much. This was after constant calls to them and with promises of feedback or updates. It never happened. I only got updated when I called them myself.

I had major services issues with CISP 2 years ago before I jumped ship. Was having all sorts of network issues and the tech support response was asking for bloody speedtests basically every ticket response (you can dig up my posts in the unofficial 'official's thread). Moved to WIRULink the following week and all my issues were solved. Can't remember what the issue was (was something with Vumatel) but all I remember is it took about 2 days of back and forth emails with WIRULink and they got it resolved, compared to a desperation 2 or 3 weeks with CISP...

CISP has been a great ISP for me, except for the last 2 days with international latency spikes in games and connection drops too.
